The Kenai definitely has a different look on the water compared to our summer season. With it's beautiful and peaceful look we welcome winter. Watching the moose, caribou and coyotes cross the river. The trees covered in snow and frost makes for a very relaxing time.
If you ever want to experience winter on the Kenai Peninsula we are open year round. The Kenai Peninsula has plenty of winter time activities and adventures.
Cross Country Skiing at Refuge Ski Trails, Tsalteshi Trails to cross counter ski and fat tire bike. With groomed ski trails it makes for perfect classic and skate cross-country skiing.
Some fishing guides are available year round to fish out of Homer and Seward.
Ice fishing on the lakes is very popular as well.
